About

I am an illustrator, painter and graphic designer living in a remote little town in Northern Maine, in the shadow of KATAHDIN—Maine’s highest mountain and the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail.

I create Illustrations, paintings and prints with a focus on animals and the natural world and most of my art reflects that passion. Animals are a constant source of inspiration and amusement. I work in many different styles and mediums—gouache, pen and ink, acrylics, watercolor, oil, pencil, digital and any combination thereof. My art is colorful and unique and often infused with humor.

I have enjoyed a varied career as a professional artist over the years and have worked as an art specialist working with adults with disabilities, an animation artist at American Greetings, an animation artist at The Veterans Administration, an art director and graphic designer at various advertising agencies in Cleveland Ohio (clients were Sherwin-Williams and GE) and a silkscreen artist in Cincinnati, Ohio.
